Terms & Conditions and Waiver Policy

Event Name: IndianOil Ghaziabad Heritage Run 2026

By registering for and participating in the IndianOil Ghaziabad Heritage Run 2026, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Waiver Policy:

1. Health and Fitness Declaration

• I declare that I am physically fit and medically cleared by a certified doctor to participate in this event.
• I am fully aware of the physical risks involved in long-distance running, and I am participating entirely at my own risk.
• I agree that the organizers, sponsors, and partners will not be held responsible for any illness, injury, or severe medical condition that may occur during or as a result of the run.

2. Waiver of Liability

• I hereby waive, release, and discharge the event organizers (Team Ghaziabad Heritage Night Run), sponsors (IndianOil), venue owners, and all associated staff and volunteers from any and all liability for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, or property theft arising out of my participation in this event.

3. Registration and Refund Policy

• Non-Refundable: All registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to medical reasons, travel issues, or personal emergencies.
• Non-Transferable: Registrations cannot be transferred to another person, nor can they be deferred to a future event.
• Category Change: Any request to change the race category must be submitted before the officially announced deadline and is subject to availability and organizer approval.

4. Event Rules and Guidelines

• Every participant must wear their official Race BIB clearly visible on their chest. Running without a BIB or exchanging it with another person is strictly prohibited and will lead to disqualification.
• The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the race track if they are found unwell, misbehaving, or violating the event rules.

5. Right to Modify or Cancel

• The organizers reserve the right to modify the race route, start time, or date due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, administrative orders, or force majeure).
• In the rare event of cancellation, the organizers are not liable to refund the registration fee or compensate for any travel/accommodation expenses incurred.

6. Photography and Media Consent

• I grant full permission to the organizers, sponsors, and media partners to use any photographs, videos, or audio recordings of me taken during the event for promotional, marketing, or broadcasting purposes, without any compensation.

7. Emergency Medical Treatment

• In the event of an emergency, I authorize the event medical team to administer necessary medical treatment and, if required, transport me to the nearest hospital. I agree to bear any costs associated with such medical care.

By checking the “I agree” box on the registration form, I confirm that I have carefully read, understood, and accepted all the Terms & Conditions and the Waiver Policy mentioned above.
